Mobile APRS Setup: Kenwood TM-710A

Description

This listing is for a Kenwood TM-D710A VHF/UHF mobile amateur (ham) radio transceiver. It is fully functional and has served me well, but since getting rid of the vehicle I had it in, it has been sitting in a box waiting for the next install.
Included are the following: PG-5G USB programming cable; Powerpole battery cabling; full-function handmic; remote-mount display with a rugged suction cup mount; Garmin Nuvi 350 with suction cup mount, cigarette lighter power cable and data cable for interfacing to the radio for APRS GPS signal.
The only other thing you should need is your antenna of choice for a capable mobile installation. This radio works well as a scanner for police/fire frequencies and would be great for satellite communications.

UPDATE: I plugged this unit into my trusty 12V solar setup and it does power on along with frequency adjustment working and static coming through the speaker.
